Yep... the scene seemed like that. Only thing that could have helped would have been HDR propably (and you'd need to have tripod handy there). But it has nice balance still having some details in the darker areas.

Heh... usually you'll just make a HDR (high dynamic range) photo from several photos from same scene with different exposures (like may of my recent works). So you'll end up with right exposure on all the areas and with quite unreal view.

Wow, it's really beautiful. It reminds me of the astral line of Chrno Crusade. If you've heard of the anime...If I lived near there, I'd probably be out there everyday just staring at it. ^^
