Your so quick to snap.
Your outlook is bleak.
Your living in such hell.
When all around you there is paradise.
Your never hopeful in progress.
Or patient in tribulation.
We all make mistakes,
Even you.
Nobody is perfect.
You are my friend yet,
You find it hard to love me,
As I love you.
Your at arms length,
Rejecting all comfort.
Greeting pain with open arms,
Like an old friend.
Your only love is sadness,
You can not bear this life,
Why not?
Would it be better if you died?
So you won’t be invisible?
But I see you now,
Even if you are made of glass,
So people cry for you?
I cry for you now.
So we can use the emotions…
That you can not stand.

Its hard to stand by a friend who believes they have nothing to live for.

There is one thing I know for sure an that is that friends are like burning stars and we must let their light shine and not burn out.

Strange. I really can feel with your words. Amazing lyriks. I love it. It's very touching :heart: I really feel like i am in a similar situation like the poem discribes (even though it's maybe not). Your poems really give me the feeling like i am not alone with my problems :D

It may be hard for you to be near them, but in truth...that's all they really need. Someone to listen, someone to pay attention, someone to worry, someone...to care...We all need that...but some just give up hope...We need to give them the hope...

Yeah, I do find it hard to stand by a friend that feels that they have nothing to live for. And my best friend feels the same way about me. But, I do like the way you wrote this poem. It's really good.
